Individual therapy is the focus of my work.
Individual therapy allows you to have sessions that are devoted exclusively to you, and it can help you in any situation where you feel alone, uncertain, overwhelmed, or afraid.
This includes what you might think of as the “usual” reasons for seeking therapy, such as anxiety, depression, grief, or trauma. But it also includes difficulties such as career struggles, life transitions, spiritual questions, feeling empty, feeling stuck, and struggles with current events.
If you want to know more about what therapy with me is like, you can read about therapy with me and how therapy can help you.
I offer individual therapy in a virtual format, which means we will meet via video or phone, and I can help you figure out which of these formats feels best for you. If you have any questions about virtual therapy with me—maybe you haven't done therapy that way before or you want to know how virtual therapy can be effective—please feel free to get in touch with me. Virtual therapy allows us to do deeply impactful work together, and I'm happy to talk with you to see if it feels like a good fit for you.
I work with adults of all ages, 18 and up, who reside anywhere in the state of Arkansas or Texas.
Fee: $200 per session. I also offer some sessions at a reduced rate. You can contact me to find out the current availability of reduced-fee sessions.
Insurance: I do not accept insurance, but I can provide paperwork for you to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement for out-of-network services.
Schedule: Sessions are 50 minutes and usually occur weekly.
Cancellation policy: I require a 24-hour cancellation notice for all sessions, and I provide more information about this in my paperwork, which you’ll have an opportunity to review before our first session.
If you’d like to know about how I see the process of concluding therapy (because it can be reassuring, when you’re starting something or considering starting something, what it means or looks like to end it), you can read more about the length of therapy under “About Therapy With Me.”
Refund policy: A weird thing to talk about in the context of therapy, right? But my credit card processor is requiring me to address it here on my website. Refunds are extremely rare in the process of therapy simply because payment occurs each session: you and I have a session, and I receive payment after the session is complete. If a refund is ever required—for example, I accidentally double-charge you for a session—I care about returning your money to you as quickly as possible and will refund the money in no less than five business days.
